Samsung Galaxy S8 vs iPhone 7 Plus: Which One Is The Best?

Samsung has just launched its new addition in the Galaxy series, the S8 phone, which has by far the most beautiful screen display ever. The kind of display predicted for iPhone 8 by the experts of Apple, Samsung has already offered it before Apple could even introduced the predicted-look. Here’s the gorgeous look of the S8 phone..

If you are reading this on the screen of your iPhone 7 or 7 plus, the look of this new Samsung S8 might make you feel bored about your current phone. No offence Apple, but Samsung really is rocking with its new addition of Galaxy series, if we are talking about the design.

The sleek glass and metal body of S8 is no less sexier than iPhone 7’s metal unibody. Both phones are techno-classic in terms of design, but let’s now compare them in terms of their features. Starting from fingerprints sensors; both phones have it but their placement is different. iPhone 7 has it on front, below the display where it’s signature home key is, while Samsung has come up with an entirely new and unique placement of its fingertip sensors, on the back of the phone near the camera. Now it depends on you that you find it convenient or nayy?

S8 has more unlock options than iPhone 7 because of its inclusion of facial recognition feature and iris scanner. But there’s one major thing that people appreciated the most in S8, It is the presence of headphone jack. The loyal users of Apple didn’t complain much about the absence of the headphone jack in iPhone 7 but we all know, lowkey, that we ain’t much comfortable without headphone jack. So Bingo Samsung for not letting go of the ‘Jack’. 😉

In terms of design and display, Samsung S8 certainly looks more attractive. The way Samsung managed to pack a screen bigger than iPhone 7’s in a phone smaller that iPhone 7, yes, The screen of S8 is is 5.8 inches while iPhone 7’s is 4.7 inches but techno-magically S8 is a little smaller than i7, making it easier to carry in hand.

Now talking about the second most important feature we look for, in smartphones, Camera.

The Samsung galaxy has 12 megapixel camera sensor, and again it beats out the camera result of iPhone 7 plus. Apple needs to work on its camera quality, how come even Samsung S7’s camera result was better than iPhone 7’s?

Even though Samsung is rocking with it newly launched series, why does iPhone always take the lead? Here’s why; Samsung has chipped Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor in S8 but S7 has the Snapdragon 821 which was nowhere close to the Apple’s A10 processor. If Snapdragon 835 of S8 also fails to beat A10 Processor, we are afraid that with its epic design and sexiest features, it would still not be able to beat iPhone 7 and 7+.

Also, the software; both android and iOS have improved so much and are absolutely amazing with its services but with the release of iOS 10, it’s fun chat features and other cool stuff. The updates keep rolling into your phone in iOS, but Android thinks it is not its style.

For gamers, S8 is the best choice as it supports Gear VR, Gear 360 camera and Samsung Dex, which makes it a total win if it is about productivity and multimedia, but it is the Apple which takes the lead in providing support and stability to its customers. Now you choose, keeping your priorities and preferences in mind.
