The Lead Masks Case Is A Mystery Since 1966 Or Is It Something They Don’t Want You To Know?

The sudden disappearance and death of two Brazilian electronic technicians in the year 1966 cover series of strange events that leave people perplexed.

Dead bodies of two middle aged men Manoel Pereira da Cruz and Miguel José Viana were found in a town Morro do Vintém (Vintém Hill) in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by a young man who was flying a kite in the area when he discovered the two bodies lying in the bushes.

He immediately informed the concerned authorities about the bodies. When the police reached to the spot and inspected the corpses, they noticed bizarre sightings; the bodies were rested next to each other, partly covered by grass. Both of them were wearing a formal suit, a waterproof coat and the most odd thing, two suspicious lead eye masks which gave the case its name.

An empty water bottle and a packet containing two wet towels were also found next to the bodies. Also, a strange cryptic note was also discovered that read: “16:30 estar no local determinado. 18:30 ingerir cápsulas, após efeito proteger metais aguardar sinal mascara” (’16:30 be at the specified location. 18:30 ingest capsules, after the effect protect metals await signal mask’).

After the investigation, it was found that both men were electro technician, living in a town Campos dos Goytacazes, few miles away from Rio. They left Campos on august 17 to buy some material for their work, then they never returned.

Since the dead bodies started decaying in three days, the autopsy didn’t go so well as at that time there were no advance medical instruments available to carry out rigorous post mortem examination and reveal the reason behind deaths.

Well that’s what the concerned authorities said. Some doctors concluded the case saying that the deceased were poisoned since the doctors found harmful substances in their blood. But they failed to explain other oddities related to the case.

There are many theories trying to explain what exactly happened but none of them comes with solid facts. However, there’s one that is the most supported theory so far. Aliens!

Since the town of Brazil’s Vintém Hill is infamous of the bizarre sightings of UFOs and the strange deaths of people. This case could also have something to do with the legends of UFOs in town.

It was then proposed that the two technicians were actually trying to communicate with aliens and the strange encryption found in their notes give an idea that maybe they were setting up a meeting with aliens in the woods. The lead masks could be a prevention from certain kinds of high radiations and it was used by these men to meet the beings of outer space.

However they had no idea that they will end up dying as the local stores told police that they rented a glass bottle from store, promising to return in some days. Which tells that they did plan to return but unfortunately couldn’t make it back.

The wet towels could be used to minimize the effect of heat on their head which could be caused by the hot air coming out of an UFO because of it’s heavy engines. But this is all a theory since facts are always under the control of the governments and you can never know if what the theories tell you are correct or incorrect, but some research might definitely give you an idea about what actually happened in the lead masks case.
